DE PALM ISLAND PROPERTY RULES
Welcome to De Palm Island! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please adhere to the following rules:

- All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security
checks. - Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking marijuana or using other illegal substances is not permitted at any time. De Palm Island is smoke-free, except in designated outdoor smoking areas.
- Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a guest aged 18 or older to enter the
island. Additionally, children under age 14 must be accompanied by a person aged 18 or
older to snorkel or ride the banana boat. - Tickets, credentials, and other entitlements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-
refundable, revocable, and void if altered. The ticket must be used by the same person on
days of validity. Applicable ticket and valid identification confirmation are required for
entry. - These rules are subject to change at any time without notice.

- Objects or toys resembling firearms or weapons.
- Fireworks, smoke machines, or flammable objects.
- Glass containers (excluding small containers such as baby food jars).
- Recreational devices such as drones, skateboards, or scooters.
- Boomboxes are prohibited. (Music from these items can disturb other guests)
- Balloons or plastic decorations.
- Non-Coast Guard approved flotation devices or swim noodles in the water park.
- Any other item deemed harmful or disruptive by De Palm Island staff.

- Guests are required to wear appropriate swimwear and attire while on the island.
- Nudity or clothing that is offensive or inappropriate is strictly prohibited.
- Language:
- Guests are expected to communicate in a respectful and courteous manner with staff and
fellow guests. - Profanity, abusive language, or behavior that may cause discomfort to others is not
tolerated.

- Feeding, petting, touching, harassing, or harming any wildlife, including birds, is
prohibited. - Only service animals (defined as trained dogs or miniature horses) are allowed on the
island. All other pets or animals, including emotional support animals, are prohibited. - Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner
at all times. They are not allowed in the waterpark water.
- Feeding, petting, touching, harassing, or harming any wildlife, including birds, is

- De Palm Island reserves the right to photograph, film, videotape, record, or reproduce the
image and/or voice of any person entering the island for any purpose without payment. - Admission may be denied or entry prevented for failure to comply with rules, unsafe,
illegal, or offensive behavior, or to ensure safety, security, or order. - Operating hours may be changed, access restricted, or activities suspended or canceled
without notice or refund. - De Palm Island is not responsible for the loss or damage of belongings or property,
consistent with applicable law.

- Showers are common during the rainy season in Aruba, and safety is our #1 concern.
- We closely monitor weather conditions, and for the safety of our guests, team members, and animals, we may suspend operations during periods of inclement weather, including thunder and lightning.
- During these periods, guests may be asked to evacuate Aqua play, Body drop slides, Snorkeling area, and Banana boat areas to seek shelter.
- Water activities will still continue during moderate rain, including:
- Snorkeling & snorkel tours
- Aqua play
- Body drop slides
- Banana boat rides
- Only in the event a named tropical storm or hurricane is predicted to approach Aruba, De
Palm Tours will determine storm-impacted days and enact our Named Storm Policy.
Under this policy, De Palm Island will reschedule or refund any tickets booked online or
from De Palm Tours desks.
